Donate to the Campaign for Equal Justice

Just as civil legal aid provider programs must work in partnership to successfully serve as many clients as possible, we raise funds as a team for this essential work that strengthens families, our communities and our local economies. The Campaign for Equal Justice is our state’s unified annual giving drive providing operating support for more than 20 urban and rural civil legal aid programs and is the cornerstone of legal aid giving.

The Campaign predominantly is a private bar campaign for individuals in the legal community (lawyers, judges, law professors, administrators, and others), law firms, organizations (such as bar sections), and corporations (generally through corporate counsel/legal departments). However, recognizing that access to justice is not solely a legal community problem, but a societal challenge, we have many generous non-legal community contributors as well.

By making an annual contribution to the Campaign for Equal Justice you are joining a valued group of supporters who are affirming that equal access to the justice system should be a reality for everyone in our state, regardless of their income.

Whether or not you are a member of the Washington state legal community, we hope you will make contributing to the Campaign an annual tradition.

Donate to the Endowment for Equal Justice and the Ken MacDonald Legacy Fund

Whereas annual contributions to the Campaign for Equal Justice provide the vital operating support giving our state’s more than 20 civil legal aid programs the ability to serve low-income families in need each and every day, contributions to the Endowment for Equal Justice ensures civil legal aid will be available for vulnerable Washingtonians in perpetuity.

The Campaign and the Endowment for Equal Justice complement one another. The Campaign supports legal aid programs today; the Endowment secures those program services for tomorrow.

The Ken MacDonald Legacy Fund is a special named legacy fund within the Endowment for Equal Justice honoring the long and illustrious career of civil rights champion Ken MacDonald.

The Endowment for Equal Justice and its Ken MacDonald Legacy Fund primarily are funded through special and planned gift contributions.

By contributing to the Laurel Rubin Farm Worker Justice Project you are helping deploy additional resources to migrant farm worker communities throughout our state and helping extraordinary law students get a running start in their careers as public interest lawyers—following in the footsteps of Laurel Rubin.
